This Night Mail Gift Set includes the Night Mail DVD, Travelling Post Office (TPO) ephemera postcards, Night Mail greetings card and a Night Mail promotional booklet from the GPO.

Night Mail (1936) tells the fascinating story of the Travelling Post Office from Euston to Glasgow and the men who worked on it. Specially packaged, the DVD contains extras including four short films; The Way to the Sea (1936), Spotlight on the Night Mail (1948), Thirty Million Letters (1963) and Night Mail 2 (1986) and a booklet featuring an essay by writer and poet Blake Morrison.

The postcards reproduce a variety of original archive documents relating to the TPO main train operations. The 1939 GPO promotional booklet was produced three years after the film as an alternative way to describe the work of the TPO mail trains.
