We have received a sum of money from the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council funding stream, Their Past Your Future.

Image of primary packWe are happy to announce that we have received a sum of £9,964.60 from the MLA funding stream, Their Past Your Future.

The criteria for the funding is to use an archive or museum collection in a way that will explore creative ways of increasing young people’s knowledge and understanding of the impact and contemporary significance of conflict.

The BPMA will be using the funding to conduct an extensive series of outreach sessions with schools as part of the Last Post exhibition touring programme.

The exhibition will tour to a variety of regimental museums throughout the country and each session will take place with the museums using schools from the local area. The sessions will use activities developed for the Last Post education packs and will explore themes of literacy and citizenship.
