Trusts & Foundations Internship

We are seeking an ambitious and motivated person to research, interrogate and document a comprehensive list of relevant grant giving trusts and foundations in the UK that the BPMA could seek funding from.

Search room closure 23 March

On Tuesday 23 March the BPMA Search Room will be closed after 1pm to allow an educational session to take place.

Blists Hill Victorian Town longlisted for the Art Fund Prize 2010

We are delighted to announce that the Blists Hill Victorian Town development has been longlisted for the Art Fund Prize 2010. In 2009, the BPMA, in association with Ironbridge Gorge Museums Trust (IGMT) developed a replica working Victorian Post Office at the site.

Three new partner venues for London 2010: Festival of Stamps have been announced. They are Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum, Marylebone Cricket Club Museum - Lords and Aberdeen Maritime Museum. Also involved is the History of Communication symposium at the University of London.

Postal Heritage Gifts

Today the BPMA launches our virtual gifts scheme, enabling you to help our ongoing work preserving Britain's postal heritage. Our first gifts focus on two current preservation priorities: stamp artwork and GPO posters.
