This image bank contains a selection of portraits of The Queen from when she was a small child, through to the Dorothy Wilding photograph of her that was originally used on definitive stamps. Each image has a selection of possible questions that you could use to start a discussion about self-image and self-portraits.
The questions are based on the fact that, initially at least, the children do NOT know they are looking at images of Queen Elizabeth II. For this reason, the images have been given titles to maintain their anonymity if they are projected onto interractive whiteboards.
